Join the Elite Adventures team in the early hours on  for this fantastic opportunity to take a guided walk to the roof of Wales – Snowdon (1085m) to see the sunrise. A truly unique opportunity to join a like-minded group, get active and savour the wide expansive views across Snowdonia from the highest mountain in Wales.

The team will meet you outside the Mountain railway station in Llanberis for an early start. You will receive a brief on the event before being split into groups and set off.

WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR?

This event will appeal to everyone from seasoned adventurers to Sunday hikers. The group will be fully guided, getting you safely through the darkness and up to the mountain summit. This is an ideal walk for anyone who would like to summit the highest mountain in Wales, witness the sunrise and experience being out in the mountains in the dark at the start of a new day.  The walk is aimed at all experience levels however, you will need to be reasonably fit to ensure your own enjoyment and that of the group as the trip will take around 7 hours.

You will be fully guided by a qualified mountain leader.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:

• Travel to and from the start location
• Personal Insurance
• Accommodation before/after the event

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:

• Suitable walking boots (with ankle support)
• Appropriate clothing for the walk
• Waterproof Jacket and trousers
• Spare warm layer
• Hat and gloves
• Head torch and spare batteries (can be hired from us for £4 please remember to add this to your basket before paying)
• Food, snacks and water (minimum 1.5 litre’s) for the walk

HOW TO REGISTER:

1. Visit the Elite Adventures website (CLICK HERE)
2. Under “Funding Option” select either Option 2 – Charity sponsorship (£10 registration & at least £250 charity sponsorship) or Option 3 – Mixed fundraising (£30 registration & at least £200 charity sponsorship).
3. Select Dragonfly Cancer Trust from the drop-down charity menu

CHARITY FUNDRAISING DEADLINES:

All sponsorship comes directly to Dragonfly Cancer Trust via your online JustGiving page. You will need to reach at least 50% of the sponsorship target by 3 weeks prior to the Challenge. At this time Dragonfly Cancer Trust pays a fee for your place to Elite Adventures. The remaining 50%, and any extra, should be achieved by 4 weeks after the challenge.
